7/2 Swingin’ Summer Thursday in West Chester
Join us in downtown West Chester from 6:30 PM – 9:30 PM for the Swingin’ Summer Thursday festival! You can expect delicious food from local restaurants and vendors, live music, and entertainment for all ages. Be sure to look for the Miller’s tent to get your beach balls and other goodies!
7/3, 7/4, 7/5 Chaddsford Winery Red, White & BBQ
Celebrate the 4th of July all weekend long at the beautiful Chaddsford Winery. You can enjoy BBQ food, live music, and of course- wine! No entrance fee for this event. Bring your own picnic gear if you’d like to spend a lovely afternoon at the winery. More details here.
7/4 Downingtown’s Good Neighbor Day
Staying local this 4th of July? Head over to Good Neighbor Day! The festivities start bright and early and will last until dusk, concluding the day with the fireworks grand finale. 7/10 Friday Night Lights at ChesLen Preserve
The fifth annual Friday Night Lights at ChesLen Preserve will be on Friday, July 10th from 8:00 PM – 11:00 PM. Come enjoy live music, stargazing (expert astronomers there to help!), and local beverages provided by Victory Brewing Company and Borderland Vineyard. 7/19 Turks Head Music Festival
The West Chester Parks and Recreation is hosting the 33rd annual Turk’s Head Festival at Everhart Park on Sunday, July 19th from 12:00 PM to 8:00 PM. There will be 11 bands on 2 stages, along with crafters, artisan booths, face painting, games, and food vendors. This fantastic event is FREE to attend and is sure to please the entire family! Don’t forget your lawn chairs or blanket.
7/20-7/25 Kimberton Fair
The popular Kimberton Fair will be returning for the 87th year the week of July 20th to support the Kimberton Fire Company volunteers! This event is a true old-fashioned country fair that you cannot afford to miss. What will be at the Kimberton Fair? Carnival rides, livestock competitions, animal races, fair food, their famous donuts, and much much more! Kimberton Fire Company services East Pikeland, West Pikeland, Charlestown, East Vincent and West Vincent Townships with fire protection, making this a great event to help keep many communities protected! 7/25 Philadelphia Zoo’s Summer Ale Festival
21+ only! This is an annual event that allows the zoo to open it’s doors after hours for a night of sampling local beer, live music, games and the city’s best food trucks! Tickets to the event include admission to the zoo, a tasting cup, on-site parking or shuttle service to 30th Street Station. Get your tickets now!
7/31 Summer Jam presented by Downingtown Main Street Association
This month’s Summer Jam will be on Friday, July 31st from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Armor Alley Pocket Plaza off of Route 30. There will be local food and craft vendors to check out, all while enjoying some tunes played by various musicians, including The School of Rock!
