The ever so popular Victory Brewing Company presents the 7th Annual Victory BrewBQ! Located at Plantation Field in Unionville, the competition will test some fierce competition between 7 hit restaurants from surrounding areas to see who can make the best chicken and ribs. Come hungry and ready to vote! Along with BBQ food, the day will be filled with live music, family friendly activities, beer (could’ve guessed) and even more great food from the area’s local establishments.
8/6 Swingin’ Summer Thursday in Downtown West Chester 6:30PM-9:30PM
This is the third of four Thursday night festivals in downtown West Chester happening this summer! West Chester Parks and Recreation Department is closing down Gay Street again between High & Darlington. Stop by with your family and friends for great food, live music, clowns, dancers, vendors, & more! Taylor’s Music Store features student performances also. The Justice Center Garage has FREE parking, but there are plenty of other garage options as well. This is event is guaranteed to be fun for all! Keep an eye out for our tent and get your Miller’s items.
8/8 Iron Hill Twilight Race Series in West Chester 4:00PM-9:00PM
Join us in celebrating over a decade of pro bike racing! There are various races throughout the day, but the Market Street Block Party runs from 4:00PM until the event is over and is free to the public. Come out for delicious food from street vendors or all of the awesome restaurants, live music, and stop by the Kids Zone! The event will also be featuring booths from some of the region’s most popular companies and organizations. We are sure that you will not be able to miss our bright green van! 8/15 World Helicopter Day: American Helicopter Museum 10:00AM-2:00PM
Stop by the American Helicopter Museum in West Chester for World Helicopter Day! WHD aims to raise awareness of the safety assistance that helicopters provide to our society. There will be food vendors, rides, games, misting station, and more! There will even be helicopter rides offered from 11:00AM-2:00PM! Visit their website and buy your tickets now!
8/20 Farmers Market at Eagleview Town Center
Love to eat local? Did you know that from May through the Fall, Eagleview Town Center holds a farmers market every single Thursday from 3:00PM-7:00PM? This is the second season that the farmers market is set up, selling the best fresh local foods all from within 35 miles of Eagleview. Come shop and meet local farmers and vendors who provide you delicious produce for your favorite recipes!
8/25 Eagleview Summer Concerts on the Square (& Fireworks!) 7:00PM-9:00PM
Every Tuesday night in August you can attend one of Eagleview’s summer concerts, but this one is the Summer Finale! Can you think of a better way to spend one of the last summer nights than with family, friends, a concert, and fireworks? Gedeon Luke and the People will take the stage from 7:00PM-8:30PM and a great fireworks display will end the evening! Do not miss out! Admission is free, but they do encourage guests to bring a canned food item to support the Chester County Food Bank.
8/28 Downingtown Summer Jam 5:00PM-9:00PM
Hundreds of families, friends, and neighbors start their weekends off right at the Downingtown Summer Jam events that happen on the last Friday night of the month! Since it is sponsored by School of Rock, you can obviously expect to jam out with students in the Armor Alley Pocket Plaza. There will also be food, vendors, and crafts. Including a few of our own from Miller’s! Stop by and visit.
